welcoming the community since 1919
Understanding the old-fashioned value in coming together.
For over 100 years, the Swanzey Community House has opened its doors to local life. The building and land was donated to the community in 1919 as a memorial to the local sons of the Great War. Since then, it’s doors have been opened for every type of life-event. From training classes for your new puppy to weddings and graduation parties. Memorial services to extended family dinners.
The first floor is divided into two rooms, a large meeting space, capable of accommodating up to 100 people, and a smaller attached chapel. The entry-level floor has a full kitchen and bathrooms, and two large rooms. Whichever floor you are on, we have the perfect space for you to come together.
“It was so nice to have my whole family gathered around one long table. And I went home to a clean house! The Community House took the stress out of my holidays. My brother asked why we hadn’t thought of it sooner!”
